Gopal dada, the name itself brings, love, compassion, karmayogi - so many thoughts in our mind. Every time i met Gopal dada we would discuss how i should go with him to Unjha (his village) and if he would come to Mumbai (my village). We would tentatively plan dates but somehow it never happened. and dada left this mortal world in November.

Last year in April i was with dada, and incidentally it was my birthday. Dada hugged me and with a big smile and told me his birthday is in April too. Of course, he did not remember the date. Hence, this April - in my humble love and acknowledgement of his presence in my life, I intend doing a pad-yatra (walking pilgrimage) from Ahmedabad to Unjha. I know in this life I cant physically get him to Mumbai, but i hope to visit Unjha. This is something that i want to do in gopal dada's memory.

i hope to be leaving on the 13th of April from Ahmedabad and will walk to Unjha. The idea is to walk slowly connecting to 'nature'. the nature outside and the nature within. No hurry, no worry, just being with 'nature'. No unnecessary technology or disturbances, just trusting 'nature' to help.

Gopal dada, who is part of nature will be at the centre of my yatra throughout. This will be my pilgrimage in his memory - an ode to gopal dada.
