Programme Concept:

With the advent of CSR Cooperation into the Development Sector, more and more corporate management tools like Result Based Management (RBM) Key Result Areas (KRA) are being put into use in  the implementation monitoring and impact assessment of development initiatives.  For the development world RBM has become Result Based Monitoring and KRA is interpreted as KPI – Key Performance Indicators. These are now accepted terms of reference for project Management even for International Donors and Development Practitioners.

Objectives of the Workshop:

1. Updating on Basic Project Management Tools & Techniques.
2. Understanding Project Monitoring from the RBM Perspective.
    a. Introduce the concept of RBM, KRA and KPI.
    b. Developing SMART indicators of Performance.
3. Monitoring Resources and Activities with an Impact Orientation.
    a. Use Qualitative and quantitative data.
    b. Comparing Baseline data to the achieved results.
4. Evaluating Projects using KPI
    a. Identifying key performance indicators.
    b. Evaluation of Projected using KPI.
