Anyone can be gentle. Anyone can give service. Anything can be service.

A day at the Houston Food Bank community kitchen! My special experience with Anand (my brother) over the holiday in loving memory of Ishwar Kaka. We worked for over three and a half hours and packaged over 1100 warm meals for the elderly, veterans, and young children Anand and his friend Scott who came with us, both have autism. Some of the tasks were a bit harder for them, but the kitchen members were so kind in encouraging and coaching them. Standing in the heat of the kitche... read full story

  "I love cleaning cars"

“I love cleaning cars” At 2 in the afternoon – on a wednesday, while people in Ahmedabad are taking it easy, shops shut for the owners afternoon nap, my friends Neerad and Sheetal spot a 20 something year old boy smiling and singing away in his own world, while sparkling his owners car “The reason i say sparkle is because he did it with such concentration, cleaning the smallest of spots with a microscopic view, as if polishing a diamond” said Neerad.   Conversations with Jayesh Bhai

“Don’t live in fear. If you are walking down a dark path guided by the light of a torch, you will not be able to see the end of the path. When you meet her, be rest assured that two things will definitely (and always) happen – 1. an act of kindness project will emerge in the most random conversation and 2. you will be treated to a nice home (self) cooked healthy food or may be even a BIG b... read full story

"I Am Moved By Love." --Vinoba

I am a man who belongs to another world than this, one that may seem very strange. For I claim that I am moved by love, that I feel it all the time. I do not deal in opinions, but only in thought, in which there can be give and take. Thought is not walled in or tied down, it can be shared with people of goodwill; we can take their ideas and offer them ours, and in this way thought grows and spreads. This has always been my experience, and therefore I do no accept any kind of label for myself.... read full story
