Our First 'Awakin Talks' Gathering in Bombay!
Thank you for co-creating such an energizing field of love on Saturday night -- at our first Awakin Talks gathering! We are deeply grateful for all the speakers who are being the change in so many diverse ways, for all the volunteers who invisibly offered service, and for all of you who held such a sacred space for powerful stories to be shared.
Shaalini and Dogo have posted some beautiful pictures:

It was such a delightful evening. Love was in the air like a beautiful mist. Felt so happy see that the values I stood for all my 80 years of life were not only taking root but blossoming. Their fragrance was intoxicating. Thanks to all who are associated with this movement.

Yesterday I had a wonderful evening in the company all of you. This was the second meeting/program I attended of Awakin Circles after the first one at Bandra. The passion with which you and your team are putting this program together leaves happy and lasting memories.

i am not sure i will be able to tell u in words what i am feeling right now but i will try. i came for the Awakin Talks somehow having an intuition its going to be good. but what amazed me was every time a speaker spoke i was in tears. each one of them moved me equally.i thought at the end i will thank sachi but i just could not. my heart was so full and i was in a space feeling so tranquil that i did not wait to meet anyone. this talk has opened my eyes to minute things as well as huge insights. i am extremely grateful to your group and you for this space.

And for the first time in my life, I'm experiencing "ripples". Got a call this morning from someone in the audience who very warmly wished me Good Morning and shared how my sharing resonated with her so much and how she can still feel the energy that was shared within her. We went on talking for almost an hour and she offered to gift a box of puppets to our Aashiyana Library and is looking to come and share the world of Puppets with teachers and kids at Dongri. Anther very sweet soul shared how after my talk she wants to connect more with children and go beyond what her organisation is doing. Her love and energy was so incredible, she kept hugging me and blessing me for what I shared and I felt so grateful to see her smiles and love!! :-)

Yesterday was my first exposure to Awakin. I was simply overwhelmed with joy to see such genuinity and humility. It seemed as if I belonged there and I've been unknowingly waiting for something like this ever since I've done Vipassana. A friend of mine who had attended a retreat in Ahmedabad last year suggested me to attend an Awakin gathering. Following his suggestion is probably one of the better decisions of my life.
Thanks a million for doing things that you are doing. I would love to be part of the community and contribute in every way I can. When you have some time, request you to please let me know how can I get involved. I have already gone through the website. -

Sachi dear.... I feel immense gratitude for giving us the space and opportunity to be a part of this process. To have faith in us. Your intentions, crazy hard work and love cannot be thanked enough. I'd only say - WE LOVE YOU!!!!
Deeply grateful for all the beautiful connections that were made possible this weekend. And deeply grateful to each one for sharing their love and joy and adding richness to my (and i guess to all our) lives..

I've attended several hundred talks in my life, but what all of you put together that day really moved me. I actually felt some things shifting inside me when a couple of speakers said the things that they did. Thank you!
