On Sunday, 31st March I found myself serving with joy at yet another Seva Cafe in Bangalore. Its incredible how such spaces evoke a sense of giving with pure intentions in us. 
So much so, that I thought of expressing my thoughts through a poem on reaching home. 

On Gifting:

What Can I give You
What is Mine to give you..
Who am I to give you?,,
All my life I learnt only to take and use..
I still only take and use..
I Came with Nothing,
I Go with Nothing,
In between I Fight for everything,
Which was never mine,
Which will never be mine,
Did I Ever fight for some thing,
Which could be possibly mine,
For sometime at least,
A feel of Pride, Joy, Happiness, 
In the giving everything I could,
Which was again never mine, 
But happen to be in my 

control..
Give a smile,
Give a reason for smile,
Give a Dream,
Give a reason for a dream,
Give some thing back to thie world..
Back to this mother earth,
and your co-travelers on this journey,
Give more to gain some thing,
That can never be bought,
A peaceful mind..."
