Tying Love this Friendship Day!

Last year's touching experience of friendship day made us to move on roads even this time and celebrate friendship day with all our wonderful friends in the society who make our life comfortable and peaceful.

Our friends like the milk man, police men's, watchman, shop keepers, vegetable vendors, doctors, traffic police, fire men, news paper boy, rickshaw drivers, best bus drivers and conductors and our parents. The thought that what if tomorrow morning we wake up and we need to do all these things our self, made us realize how important they are in our lives.

We usually measure their work with the money we pay in return for the work they do. But really is money enough to express all the gratitude for what they are doing for us? We felt not. We are all the children of the same God and its the friendship of a "human" to a "human" that we wanted to celebrate.

So a bunch of us with friendship bands and chocolates in our hands, smile on our face and love in our heart went on street to meet all our friends. We were joined by 5 young girls of 12-14 years of age. The level of energy was awesome. They all were super charged up and with wonderful smiles on their faces, they tied the friendship bands to the people and said thank you. It was super amazing to see how many hearts they won by their smiles and the love they were putting in tying the bands. As we gifted bands and chocolates, we were all being gifted blessings, smiles, chocolates, juices and sweets!

One doctor had also joined us. She was simply amazing. As she was tying bands, she was also advising people on the ill effects of alcohol and tobacco and in return was taking a promise from them that they wont consume it. She was indeed inspiring for us.

There were smiles and happy conversations all around. Some people were confused as we approached them with bands but on explaining slowly a wonderful smile would emerge on their faces. Some even came back to tie bands on us.

At the end of the day one of us received a gratitude message from a young girls mother saying "we are thankful to you all for engaging our kids in such a fantastic event, from bottom of my heart I thank you all.. and any time if you people need any thing do let us know"

The experience of the day, the many blessings we received and in the end this note by one of the mothers’ multiplied our joy and smiles. At the end of the day we all were grateful to God for making us the medium to do such a wonderful thing of making people smile.
