"Music as they say is the language of the heart - it can bypass our over thinking minds and go right to the core of how we feel." ~Karen Drucker~

We are delighted to share with you the back story of how "The face of God" found it's way into our world through the artist Karen Drucker's own words.

“I have been writing and performing positive message music for years and have seen the importance and healing powers that music can bring to people. When we allow a song to come into our hearts I believe it opens us up to communicate with others in a way that is kinder and more loving - and for me - this is what heals the world!
I was working as a music director for a church here in the San Francisco Bay area a few years ago when the Minister of the church wanted to have a message about how we can see the face of God in everyone we meet if we just take the time.
I got her message late at night - the night before Sunday service and being too tired to do anything then decided to wait until that Sunday morning.  In the end, it turned out I had about 10 minutes to spend writing the song which the Minister wanted for that mornings message.  So I sat down at the piano and out it came!  In a flash I had the melody, and with some of her ideas the song was written and ready to go.

I had no idea of the impact until I performed it that morning and people were crying and looking at each other. Little did I know that this little simple song would go all around the world and be used in tribes in Africa , and workshops and retreats all around the world. I have been blessed to see where this song has gone.”

You are the face of God
I hold you in my heart,
You are a part of me
You are the face of God…

You are the face of love
I hold you in my heart
You are my family
You are the face of God
