Maitri Space In Rishikesh (India)

While in strengthening the spirit of "it is in giving that we receive" moved by love hosted its current Maitri Space gathering, Jayesh bhai who invisibly anchors the sacred space was away in Rishikesh, hosting central board meeting of Harijan Sevak Sangh (HSS), founded by Gandhiji in 1932.

Fortunately, I interacted with few members who attended the Rishikesh meeting and I was moved by love ! Swami Swatantratanandji a veteran Gandhian leader and monk who lives near banks of Ganges, offered his Ashrama to Jayesh bhai to host the meeting. More than 80 members FROM across the country came together to discuss matters of national importance.

While we in Ahmedabad were experiencing the the power of Maitri space gatherings wherein we had a diverse gathering vaying from "a musician and physician couple, a school teacher, diamond businessman, professionals, social workers, students pursuing engineering, MBA etc. all merging and melting with love at the banks of Ganges, `member`s of state HSS came together along with Gandhians from across the country. Swami Swatantratanandji shared that the whole environment and ambiance was full of joy and gusto with a stream of love flowing all across !

Here are some glimpses :
