A few weeks ago a young man named Karan walked in for our local Awakin Circle. After the circle, he shared with a few of us how he had left his home in Baroda to get away from his family and took up a job in Pune. His first week at his new job made him want to pack his bags and go back home.
"This circle has given me a lot to reflect upon. I would say it is a U-turn in my life and I am very grateful that I'm here today. I may not see you'll next week, but am very thankful that this space Exists." He shared very sincerely.
Next week, surprisingly, he was at the Awakin again with a big smile :)
He later shared, how the circle gave him strength to have an honest chat with his parents and he apologised to them saying he will come back. His parents too understood him better and in fact encouraged him to continue with his job in Pune with no regrets.
Thus, here is Karan, light hearted and back at the circles every week :)
He reminded me of the famous quote - "Life is what happens to you while you are making other plans"
