Our Kanchan dada would have his last journey in his physical body today evening. Firmly believe that his soul will rest in peace and will keep on blessing our noble intentions. We visited Kanchan dada on 1st Oct, in his village Bhanpur going through health issues. It was an experience to witness his pious smile and blessing. Parikshit (18 years), saw a video of Seva Café and Udai bhai on history channel and was moved by the idea of "gift it forward". He decided to offer tuition to students from needy background without any fixed fee – whatever one can offer, he would accept with grace.   The Mosquito and The Ant - Lessons in Compassion

This morning, Meghna shared one of the most amazing stories about her daughter -- four year old, Reva.   It seems that a mosquito was bothering Reva and to protect her, Meghna squatted the mosquito and it died.  Witnessing the event, Reva was startled!  She got upset and asked, "Why did you kill it?"  Meghna responded, "Because it was biting you."  With wide-eyed exclamation, Reva responded, "But it was searching for her mom!"  ... read full story

  Gramshilpi Retreat

A three day retreat was organised by moved by love volunteers at Sughad especially for the Gramshilipis. “Gramshilipis” as the word says are the architects of a village who serve in villages which are highly underdeveloped and in need of basic facilities like roads, primary education, electricity, sanitation etc. The nine gramshilips had qualification ranging from bachelors in Education to Masters in Social work from Gujarat Vidhyapeeth, founded by Mahatma Gandhi.
